Thanks everyone - this has been so encouraging. This baby is a surprise to us - so I think I feel a little bit like it's my fault - even though my hubby is excited, I know it's still a shock to him. And he definitely was not mentally prepared for me to be sick!

@jhd: I hear you! We'll be moving in the 3rd trimester, maybe only a few weeks before I'm due!

@SweetMamaM: exactly this. I've cried to my husband telling him how I feel so useless, and he just comforts me and tells me I'm doing something so much more important, I am growing our family! I also did not get the 2nd trimester amazing energy, although it does come back at least a little. It's hard to not to beat yourself up over it, but this too shall pass!

Give yourself a break and do what you can, when you can! I am still telling myself that! Hugs!

The first trimester is rough! Hang in there. I'm 19 weeks now & we also just moved. Poor DH. It's been a crazy few months. I know how you feel.

Hugs, lady! I felt that way, and I still feel that way a lot. It's HARD to grow a human! But I also know it's hard on DH to have everything fall to him. Hang in there, but don't push it. Hopefully you'll start to feel better very soon, and things can get back to normal.

I feel the same way but DH understands. The hardest part is DDs middle of the night waking a lately. She's cutting molars I think and is miserable. DH gets up everytime though :/

I felt and still feel the same way... It's culminated in tears a couple of times for me. I never got the full amount of energy back in the second trimester and there are a few things I still can't do. I agree with luckypenny though, you have to give yourself a break sometimes and think about the work your body is doing 24/7.

I felt the same way with the first pregnancy but this time around I have no guilt! You are growing a baby! Your body is taking millions of little cells and creating LIFE! It's tough work and you should take it easy :) You'll get your energy back in the second trimester and can go back to your normal work load. Enjoy the pampering Mama :)

Bees, can I just say, I feel like a terrible wife right now. The Mr. has been so supportive since our little surprise! I'm 9 weeks today - and let me tell you, I feel so nauseated, and have no energy. I'm trying to still cook and clean and help him with some projects...but it's so hard! I know that he's feeling a little neglected, but I just have no energy! He keeps saying it's okay, but I just feel like a really bad wife right now.

Thanks - just needed someone to "listen!"
