I was exhausted in the first trimester - from constant nausea, sciatic pain, and the surge in hormones. I believe it's totally normal.

I'm nearing the very end of the second trimester (aka, the honeymoon trimester), and I've started getting lethargic again. I teach, and am currently on spring break, and I've literally done nothing today. Nothing.

I'm still feeling it, and I'm almost 12 weeks! Totally normal. Give yourself permission to rest when you need it.

Yes! The first trimester wasn't just tired like I hadn't had enough sleep - it was lethargic, like being in a fog.

Yup! I was tired all the time and all I wanted to do was nap so do nap when you can!

I don't even have a 9-5, I can't imagine what it's like for full-time workers! I am the worst at drinking water, I really need to be better. :(

I'm trying to psych myself up to go to the grocery store just to get a few things. It's right across the street practically.

Maybe I'm just being lazy, haha.

Oh yes. I napped as often as I could. I read something once that suggested that the energy your body uses during the first trimester is comparable to the energy your body uses when you run a marathon--every day.

I found that having trying to keep my protein up helped--in my case it was peanut butter sandwiches and almonds. And lots and lots of water.

Yes. I napped all the time after work during the first trimester.

Yup. Try drinking more water though--that definitely helped me! (So did almost-daily naps during the first tri...)

I'm still very newly pregnant, 4w4days I think. I know being tired is normal. I'm like super tired though, and lethargic. I feel like I'm sleep-walking or going in slow motion for most of the day. Sometimes I'm scared I'm going to get in a car accident because I feel so out of it!

Is this normal?
