&#60;p&#62;Would you ever want to use her for date nights (if she would do evenings?) or preschool closings? That might help mitigate the guilt!

<description>&#60;p&#62;DS is 2.5 and has been at the same wonderful family daycare since he was 6 months.  We love the daycare provider.  She's experienced, loving and only has 2-3 kids at a time.  Right now it's DS and a one-year old.  A spot just opened up at a nursery school for next school year.  We're going to start DS in September and I have to tell our current provider next week and I feel so guilty.  It's the best move for DS; he needs to be around other kids his age.  But our provider won't be able to easily fill DS's spot (she gets a high demand for infants, but not children over 24 months).  She's been such an important part of DS's life and I feel terrible taking this income away from her, but it's what we need to do for DS.  Ugh .....  :sad:
