Awww I'm sorry. Don't feel bad though, you didn't know she had a bug, and I'm sure your friend will understand. Hopefully as her immune system strengthens, it won't be a big issue anymore. I agree with @Weagle, maybe try getting together with friends outside.

I don't have any advice because we are not there yet but I wanted to pop in and send big hugs. You must feel like a prisoner. I've heard that, as they catch more and more bugs, their immune system gets stronger so it won't be like this forever... I imagine that's little consolation right now. Hang in there, you will be out with the 3D people again before you know it!

:( Sorry. It's tough when LOs are sick. You could definitely get out for walks. Or, when my LO is sick I meet up with friends in an outdoor place like a park. My LO and her baby friends are just getting to the point where they pay attention to each other enough to share germs, and it's much easier to keep them apart outside.

I'm feeling pretty down at the moment. LO started daycare just over a month ago and it's been cold after cold. I know it's typical but I didn't realize how lonely it would be. I feel like I haven't left the house except to work in the past month either because LO is sick or I am and I don't want to spread it to anyone.

Today DH, LO, and I were feeling good so we took the rare opportunity to visit some friends. By the car ride home LO had diarrhea and a fever of 102f. Now I feel like crap for exposing my friend's baby and feeling like I'll never get to socialize again.
