@LAZB: That's great! If it were me and the cycle failed I would always wonder what if, would it have worked if I had taken the progesterone. This way at least you know you are doing everything possible.

@CatchAFallingStar: Yes, I was on Clomid and progesterone
@KT326: the more I think about it, the more I feel like I'm going to call back about the progesterone. I know my doctor does surgeries on Thursdays, so I'll probably call tomorrow

Every treatment I had whether it was Clomid, Femara, or Injectibles, I had progesterone supplementation. I would call and ask about it. Don't feel like you are being a pain! Everyone's protocol can be different and should be changed accordingly to suit the needs of the patient.

Thanks, it's been tough, but we are somehow getting through day by day. It's weird, because another reason I want to get pregnant so badly is that I really want to give Q a little brother or sister.

@CatchAFallingStar: yes, I got pregnant last May and had my baby boy in January. Sadly, he caught a virus when he was a week old and passed away when he was five weeks old (I wrote a thread about it if you want the details). We were always planning on trying again soon after he was born, but this is a little sooner than we initially planned. There are multiple reasons why we are trying sooner (obviously) but one of them is I want to try to get pregnant before my endo comes back.

@LAZB: No, I don't have a short luteal phase. My lap was in February of this year (my only one). Have you gotten pregnant before?

@CatchAFallingStar: aren't we lucky haha. My lap was in January 2013. I'm hoping to get pregnant again before needing another one. Did you also have a short luteal phase?

@LAZB: Hi there! I had never been prescribed progesterone until my current IUI, injectable cycle. I was previously on 2 Clomid and 2 Femara cycles. What stage endo do you have?

If you took Femara, did you take progesterone after you ovulated?
The first time I got pregnant I was on Clomid and then progesterone starting 3DPO. This time I asked my doctor to put me on Femara because I have done some research, and it seems like a better solution for someone with endometriosis.
I did CD3 bloodwork, and the nurse called me to tell me that she would call in my prescription. I asked her about progesterone for after O, and she said that I probably wouldn't need it, and to just come in for 7DPO labs. I would feel better if I got progesterone because I have a short luteal phase, but I don't want to pester the nurse about it if it isn't the normal protocol. Thoughts?
