I ate full-fat ice cream the cycle I got pregnant. I'd like to believe that helped. Side note: I got a flavor I knew DH wouldn't eat so I would have it all to myself.

The website @Mrs. Blue recommended is super helpful! I finally got some info on caffeine and alcohol and its affects on hormone levels, something I've been wondering about for months. I consume both on a daily basis and have always wondered if it would affect my chances of getting pregnant and never got a straight or clear answer. It also has a ton of other tips about what foods to start eating and what to avoid. Thanks for the recommendation!

@PBandBaseball: @Modern Daisy: The focus of the book is getting your body, environment, etc. ready for pregnancy. I skimmed some chapters, but I have found others to be very informative. I also like that it talks about how something effects both men and women's fertility and possible risks to a future baby. The book is focused not just on fertility but on all that you can do before conception for fertility, healthy pregnancy, and a healthy LO. Hope you can glean some helpful info!

Don't take Benadryl 2 weeks prior or during your TWW because it can get in the way of implantation.

These are great tips so far! I am totally on board with the full fat iced cream - that's all I eat anyway since I feel like low fat and fat free ice cream tastes like chemicals.

@Mrs. Blue, I will check out that book and website too!

I'm reading a book called Before Your Pregnancy: A 90-day Guide; it has chapters about what to eat, what to avoid, etc. I'm not finished reading it, but I've found it interesting so far. Maybe see if your local library has or can get it. Also, the website Naturally Knocked Up has some good information.

I have read that consuming full-fat dairy can be a boost. Medicine related, you can also take robitussin as an expectorant and that will increase CM as well.

Does anyone know if there are certain foods (or drinks) known to boost your fertility? On the flip side, is there anything that you should avoid eating or drinking that would make you less fertile?

I'm not talking about fertility medication, just natural food products or beverages.
