Yea, it isnt quite positive, but usually mine gets gradually darker, so when I saw that I was afraid I caught the end of my surge. I worked last night so when I tested, even though it was in the morning, it wasnt my fmu. I guess I am going to keep on testing and see what happens.

@fotolori1: The second one from the bottom doesn't look positive to me. Close but not quite there. It's not as dark or darker than the test line. Also, most brads recommend testing mid-afternoon and not FMU.

I have never had a cycle that was less than 26 days that I am aware of. Since that was this morning, I am going to test again tomorrow and see as I usually get a pos on day 12 and ovulate around day 13. We are gonna bd in the morning just in case. I usually get sore boons when I ovulate and dont have them yet, so fingers crossed!

I think it could be possible if your surge started this morning, because you don't actually ovulate as soon as you surge - it can take a day or even longer, and the egg lives for some time after that too. Have you ever had a 24-25 day cycle? If not and you have plenty of OPKs, maybe it would be worthwhile to keep testing for another week just to see.

I took another opk test this morning after work and it looks ALMOST positive. Then I took one this afternoon and it was very negative. Im wondering if it was just a fluke or if maybe I caught the end of my surge.

Now my question is..... if I missed my surge, say it was early hours of the night last night, and we cant do it until tomorrow morning when I leave work, could I still catch the egg? Last month my surge was about 24 hours long. Yesterday afternoon my opk was negative also. I have lots of very watery with one bit of ewcm today. I am so confused and scared we might miss it! Here is a pic of my opk. The last 2 are from today. Darkest being this morning. (Wasnt my fmu because I had worked all night and had been awake)

I've had 27-28 day cycles where I ovulated around CD14 and started getting watery CM on CD7-8. Don't stress too much about missing today; if you BD every day starting today you'll just be worn out by the time you ovulate and it actually matters!

Honestly, my CM was never totally consistent. FF will always say that you are potentially fertile if you have watery or EW CM. But it seems a little early for ovulation.
After a few more cycles with FF, it will get to know your patterns, and will probably get more accurate.

Since you still have negative OPKs (right?) and it's only CD 8, I would say ovulation is a little ways off for you . I start to get eggwhite CM many days before I ovulate.

I am not so good at it either. I have a regular 27 or 28 day cycles so I thought the chances of ovulating that early are pretty slim, but I hate when FF says im fertile and I am no where near my fiance!

CD8 seems too early to be Oing. I would go off temps and OPKs combined and not necessary CM because personally I can't distinguish EW from watery.

Well, I have been using fertility friend for my charting and also using OPK's. I started checking my temp as well as opks as soon as AF ended this month. Yesterday which was only cycle day 7, I started having very creamy cm. Today, I had watery cm, cycle day 8. I have had negative opks for the last 3 days and since my temp went up just a little and I have watery cm, FF is saying that today is a "fertile day". Sadly, I am at work tonight, so we cant do anything. In fact we wont even see each other until Saturday morning. Does anyone think I am out before we even get started???? I hate working night shift while im trying to get pregnant!
