I am on metformin currently while breastfeeding LO 2-3 times a day, but I don't think there is much milk at all (like maybe he's getting 2-3 oz total daily??) My DD was 20 months or so and we were only nursing at bedtime. I must say both of those transfers failed, I weaned and got pregnant on the next transfer. Honestly I only did it because I was not taking any stimulating meds. I personally would not have kept breastfeeding in a stimulated cycle and my RE was totally against that. I was going to be taking Lupron, estrogen, and progesterone. So, my RE has suggested that I will only ovulate if I start Clomid or injectables (we used Menopur injections when we conceived our daughter). I'm sure my doctor will go over all of this with me, but I am still nursing our 2-yr-old (shockingly enough) about 4-5 times a day. Has anyone taken any kind of fertility meds while breastfeeding? I never thought I'd nurse this long, but here I am and I don't think we're quite ready to stop. </p>
