I remember telling my ob that he had to be head down because the hiccups were sooo low. I don't remember when that became clear though. Second baby pretty much felt like he was going to fall out

I always felt them down low with LO1 and she was head down the whole time as far as I knew. Haven't been able to pinpoint them with this little guy yet at 25 weeks, but may be I haven't felt them so far.

My son had them CONSTANTLY in utero... several times a day. Low down, he was head down the whole time. Unfortunately he had TERRIBLE reflux and MSPI his first year - I wonder sometimes if the nonstop hiccups were a sign? He gets a lot of hiccups when his reflux flares up still. I don't know.

I called them butt hiccups and it was one of the only baby movements I could feel daily! She still gets hiccups when she's hungry these days.

I've been told that where you feel the hiccups the strongest is where the baby's back is. My kids were head down but they faced forward until they turned during delivery, so it always felt like my butt was hiccupping.

DS was transverse from 20 weeks on and I always felt them low and to the side. Almost like in my hips.

LO1 used to get the hiccups about 5x/day in utero. I could always feel them in my lower stomach or pelvic area, and he was head down for most of the pregnancy. Your babe might have turned!

Baby has her first hiccups at 27 weeks ... they are so close together (almost like a pulse).

Does anyone know if there's correlation between where you feel the hiccups and how baby is positioned? Babe was breech at our last visit, but these hiccups are down in the left pelvic area. I assume she's transverse, but was curious if the hiccup feeling was head/stomach, etc.
