LO had a fever of 103.6 after her four month shots - cue panic and call to the 24 hr GP who came out to do a house call. We kept her on Panadol (Tylenol) for the next 24 hrs and it stayed around 100.5 before disappearing for good about 36 hours after she got her shots.

Fortunately, the six month weren't bad and she only spiked a little fever (around 100 or so). Hope H feels better soon!

DS had a 100.5 fever the night he got his 2-month shots and 101 the next day. They said to call if it got to 102. It was down to normal the 2nd night. That and tons of sleep were his only side effects.

Aww, poor Harper! Julia got her 4 mo shots at 10am and got a fever of 102.5 that night. It lasted about 24 hours, I think. I gave her Tylenol. She actually wasnt fussy. She has never had diaper rash before, but she did get it after her shots. I think the rotovirus shot gave her diarrhea and that caused the rash.

LO also got a fever after his 4 month shots, and he was a bit fussy for the few days following them, but it only lasted about 2 days or so. He did MUCH better with his 6 month shots...no fever and barely any fussing! Hope she feels better!

LO has gotten a fever after each round of shots. The fever usually hits the day after the shots and lasts about a full day/night. We usually alternate childrens tylenol and children motrin if her fever is above 101. Hope H feels better soon!

If your LO had a fever after shots, how long did it last?

H had 4 month shots yesterday (we're a couple of weeks behind, I think bc of her whole annoying jaundice thing, we waited on the initial shots bc she had a lot going on already), and she was fussy/tired last night but no fever, then woke up this morning with a 100.7 fever. I've been giving her Tylenol, and the Ped says as long as it doesn't last longer than 4 days, it's fine.

I hope it doesn't take that long! I can tell she doesn't feel great but she kills me bc she is still laughing and talking and sweet even when she looks so tired/like she doesn't feel good:(. Sweet baby girl:(
