Is there no after hours or emergency line? Maybe a nurses line through your health insurance?</p> <p>My sisters son had a fever with strep throat. He still had his fever after the antibiotics and he was diagnosed with leukemia. That is an extreme example but our mommy instinct knows if something is wrong and we have to follow it. Last night he spiked a fever of 102 after not having one at all. I plan on calling the pediatrician but the phones don't open until 9. Has this happened to anyone else after starting antibiotics? I guess I'm worried because he has had 5 doses of the antibiotic and is just now getting a fever. </p>
