My fever is back again and still no nasal symptoms. I got so excited last night when I checked my temp before bed and it was normal and then I was able to sleep ALL night rather than be awaken w pregnancy insomnia or the crazy shivers. This morning my temp was also normal but now it's back to 99.8. What gives? :crying: </p> <p>I'm really worried that either the fever and/or all the freakin Tylenol is gonna harm the baby.</p> <p>Eta - this is now day 4. He also said he doesn't think it's the cause of the fever though. Called back and he had already left the office so have to wait til tmw morning to see if I need an antibiotic. I don't have any UTI Symptoms though. I had something similar for about a week during my first pregnancy. If it were me... Just try to stay hydrated (high temps can cause dehydration, I learned this the hard way) and use Tylenol and rest. And of course stay in touch with the dr if it goes up! Sorry you're dealing with this, it sucks! Last winter my husband's bout with the flu went similarly. His fever would get better with advil but would not go away. I was pregnant and paranoid so I made him go to the doctor after a weekend of him feeling miserable and sure enough it was the flu. I had it starting two weeks ago. The fever/chills lasted two days. A couple more days of body aches/lethargy. And then a cough set it that is still lingering and won't go away. I took tamiflu and it helped immensely! Took my temp and it was 99.6. Later that night it went up to 100.9 and I was literally shivering. Took some Tylenol and called the OB in the morning. He thinks it's the flu and the nasal symptoms just hasn't come yet. Went to my pcp BC the OB said I didn't need to be seen. The pcp agreed that it might be the flu. I asked for them to check for UTI even though I have no UTI symptoms. Last night temp spiked to 102.9 and I was shivering even more. Took Tylenol and it dropped to 100.4 this morning. Anyone got any clue What could be wrong? </p>
