@Mamaof2: thanks! Her fever finally broke overnight. It hovered around 101-102 all weekend even with ibuprofen.
So weird, 3 days of fever with no other symptoms.

Hope your DD feels better soon!

@regberadaisy: Hope your DD is feeling better!

Sam thing happened to my DD yesterday - we were outside and it was HOT - she came up to me and said she didn't feel well - I assumed from the heat so we went inside. Next thing you know 102 fever.

I also wondered if it could be from the heat but then assumed it was unlikely and just a bug.
She is home today and still has a fever.

Yup sounds like she is coming down with a cold. I don't think being outside during the day in hot weather would make her have a temp at night, esp in an air conditioned home

My guess is if she had a high temp from the weather, it would have responded to a cooler environment. She probably just has a bug!

DD2 is 8.5m and today was probably one of the hottest days she experienced. She took a epic 3 hour nap today which has only happened one other time. When she woke up she was very hot, but just her head. I thought it was just because the upstairs is a little warmer. I gave her a tepid bath and she seemed to cool off. She was in good spirits, energetic etc. Pur her to bed per usual. She just woke up for a feed and was burning up again so I took her temp. 102.4
So now I feel awful because she was probably fighting something off.
Now I'm second guessing whether the fever is from being overheated. She was really only out for an hour this morning before 930am. Then for another 45 or so around 11am. She was primarily in shade the whole time. AC is on inside.
I just changed her diaper and it's plenty wet and gave some ibuprofen.

Any thoughts? I don't think she has heat stroke but I'm just freaking out a bit because its motn...
