@BabyBunny: I don't have any experience, but I know my mom had the flu in her first trimester when she was pregnant with my brother. He turned out just fine :-)

I'm about 8 and a half weeks and came down with what I thought was a cold a few nights ago -- sore throat, laryngitis, drippy nose and a bit of a cough. I was pretty wiped out this afternoon, so I took a nap and woke up with a fever of 99.9. I'm on Tylenol now and it's down to 99.2. I'm going to urgent care tomorrow to make sure it's not strep or anything else that needs antibiotics. In the meantime, do you have any positive stories to share -- particularly if you've had a fever in the first tri and everything turned out OK? I'm trying not to be too nervous.
