They did say I'd need to go to the ER if it went over 101 and wasn't responding. I believe they just want to know so they can decide if you need to come in. They had me try to break it with Tylenol. I hope you feel better soon! I was told to call if I reached 100.4, sadly I was there.</p> <p>First hospital visit they put me on an IV which broke my fever. I went home after 8 hours and some tests. They told me to take tylenol to keep the fever in check.</p> <p>I ended up back at the hospital 5 days later bc the fever would just not go away. My .midwives said if my fever hits 101 or higher to call them. What happens then? Kinda worried now. Temp was 100.2 and 100.0 back to back (to check for accuracy) last time I did it. </p>
