Fevers are the worst in terms of diagnosis. So first thing tomorrow we will try to get into the pediatrician. I swear everytime we think it could be an ear infection it isn't. My daughter got 3 ear infections in 5 months, and we noticed a pattern. We knew an ear infection was coming when she would get sick/congested, and then 1-2 days later she would get a fever. He's had a cough for weeks but got a fever on Sunday. He acted normally for the most part. Yesterday he was fever free all day. About 2 pm he started saying his ear hurt. It was strange because he kept saying it. Last night he was unusually cranky and he just tossed and turned all night. He also cried anytime I left his side. </p> <p>Well this morning he is running a fever again. Obviously the pediatrician isn't open today. Is this something to worry about? Should we go to the ER or can we wait until tomorrow. </p> <p>NOTE: he has never had an ear infection before. </p>
