Our daycare cutoff is 100.5. Even at 100.3 I would keep my kiddo home. They only get to that point if they are fighting something.

Ok thanks. I knew that but wanted to make sure I wasn't just being crazy. Ugh another day inside, keeping the sick toddler from coughing on the baby. And it's dhs bday. Bleh.

We usually go by her mood. There have been times when her fever was technically too high to go to daycare so we kept her home but she seemed perfectly normal, so we took her somewhere to play. Extra cranky sounds like your LO should stay in though.

100 and above. It sounds like your LO is unwell so I would keep her home today.

I think the cutoff at DS's preschool is 100+ so I would probably keep her home, if it were me.

What temperature is your threshold for sending also to activities, whether it's daycare, preschool, library story time, children's museum...

C has had a low fever on and off over the weekend (mostly 100.3-101). It's 100.3 again this morning. Only other symptom is waking up at night and being extra cranky. She's very verbal but hasn't said anything hurts. I know I should probably keep her home today but just need to know if I'm being overly cautious and regular old considerate of other people. She has her gym drop off this morning.
