I sorta gave up on medicating on day 4. And the fever stayed lower, till today, day 6 it's gone. I've read the research about not medicating fevers, but still listened to doc who said to give meds every 6 hrs, I felt like the fever kept going high even with medicine. He said look at the symptoms, not the fever. He was definitely sick but there's nothing we could do, it was just a virus. My son has had a fever for 5 days, no symptoms. It goes up and down, but never below 100. Dr says he is fine. He had roseola when he was 10 mons old. No other symptoms other than fussiness due to high fever I'm assuming.
