Thank you all for the advice. I'm feeling even worse. My temp just now was 100.1. That's with no Tylenol. I didn't realize earlier that the Tylenol had already taken effect when I took my temp. :/

@Canoli: I haven't checked but I will. I hope it's not strep.

I had all of these symptoms along with light GI stuff for about 36 hours at 10.5 weeks and it really frightened me. but, my OB said she wouldn't even count anything under 100 degrees as a fever. I took tylenol and drank tons of gatorade and water and just kind of rode it out. I think it's very possible that even though you're having aches and chills and feel so bad that your temp could be accurate, meaning not as high as you think :heart: hope you feel better tomorrow.

I would keep up with the Tylenol and even though you feel freezing, I wouldn't stay so bundled. It will only raise your temperature.

If you have a sore throat maybe it could be strep. Do you see any white spots on your tonsils?I would get checked out especially since you're pregnant.

I had lower back pain too, but with the fever, I'm thinking maybe UTI. I didn't have the telltale burning, but I have a history of asymptomatic UTI's where they got really bad because I didn't know I had one. I hope your doc gets you in quickly!

@avivoca: Yeah my lower back is hurting so badly. I had back pain with T really badly so that's what I figured it was from.

I don't think its a UTI but who knows

@Applesandbananas: Good! That makes me feel better. It's definitely not a high fever but I know it's higher than 99.5. I'm still calling in the morning just in case.

My dr isn't worried unless it's over 102, so even if your thermometer is off a degree, that's still not super high. However, I'm always in the "it doesn't hurt to call" camp!

After having a sore throat yesterday I became achey and feverish today. I took my temperature and it read 99.5 but I don't feel like that was accurate. I have chills and am currently bundled in a hoodie, thick pants, and socks under a blanket. I feel warm to myself and to DH.

I worry about overheating and early pregnancy. I took some tylenol but it's not helping really. Tylenol has never helped me much in the past. I usually take ibuprofen but obviously can't right now.

I'm going to call my doc in the morning to check in. I go Tuesday for my first appointment.

Worry or no?
