Her pediatrician told her that babies tend to get low-grade fevers when teething because they're putting everything in sight into their mouths, which means they're more likely to pick up every little bug around and their temp goes up because their little bodies are fighting off all these random tiny little infections and viruses. She woke up last weekend with some yellow gunk around one of her eyes so I actually brought her in because I thought it was conjunctivitis. But turned out to be a double ear infection. I felt so bad because who knows how long she'd had it.</p> <p>ETA: I wish they made at-home kits to tell if they have an ear infection! After starting the antibiotics for the ear infection, she was sent home with a fever from daycare. She was acting normal so I didn't consider an ear infection. Also slept a lot Saturday. I chalked it up to a teething fever and expected to see some nubs, but nothing is there. Daycare says she may be sick (and therefore contagious). </p> <p>She only has 2 teeth so I don't know what to expect </p>
