It wasn't the content that turned me off, it was the writing and the errors in the book. A book that had that has that many grammatical errors should not have been published, I don't know how it was approved by editors! The repetition in it drives me nuts. I really liked how the third book ended. I didn't think it was that bad. I'm not going to compare it to Shakespeare but I do think it's better than some of the crappy romance books I've read. It definitely a fantasy romance novel and for that I enjoyed it. I live in Seattle so reading this book made me see Seattle in a different light.
