The film is cheap and easy to install. I did have to peel off the bottom 12 inches though so the dog could see out. Everyone else in our neighborhood has had over a decade to put stained glass or something architectural in them but somehow the previous owner never covered them up. I didn't want shades or blinds, and they were too narrow for shutters, but everyone could see into our home - it was especially bad at dinnertime. </p> <p>So I finally found this window film that lets in enough diffused light, and I like the pattern!
