You'll see many of us with IF around here. We have a great support group here. </p> <p>I'm so sorry about your third failed cycle. Many of us has been there and including me recently. Long story short, I've had 6 IUIs but the first 3 were at one clinic and the last 3 were at another clinic with a diagnosis and meds. I thought the last 3 would have worked with the new meds but it didn't... I'm now on BCP before starting IVF. My egg retrieval isn't going to be til Oct/Nov. Just chilling out now and trying to let the wait not get to me... although, it already has. </p> <p>Anyway, welcome! I'm glad you've joined in so we can offer you some support during all of this. It sounds like you are working through some challenging times all at once - infertility and a temporary long-distance relationship. That's great that your husband is able to produce sperm naturally with the HCG and FSH. If I had to share my two cents on your upcoming decision, I'd consider the injectables. You do need to figure out a monitoring situation - like what @spaniellove mentioned. But I think the injectables offer a more controlled, measured, monitored approach to the IUI process. Maybe it's worth trying before you consider IVF. That way you will have altered your protocol, tried something new, and if it doesn't work - then you are already a little experienced with the needles should you have to move on to IVF.</p> <p>Again - it's just my two cents. I'm just sharing because I moved on from 2 failed IUIs that I had done with Clomid to have a successful IUI with injectables. The slow, steady, monitored approach worked well for my body. That's where you do your bloodwork and/or ultrasound at a clinic in a city where you'll be and they send the results electronically to your clinic right away to be interpreted.
