I *knew* that there was a meltdown coming, but hoped she would wait until DH got home. </p> <p>No such luck. About an hour ago, she started SCREAMING bloody murder. Finally, after about 45 minutes of trying everything I could think of, I got 4 of the 5 "S's" (Happiest Baby on the Block) going for me. Swaddling, side-lying, sucking and shushing.</p> <p>Finally, baby is calm, collected, and sound asleep in the swing. And mama is having a brownie and a diet Coke with lime as a victory party. </p> <p>What are your meltdown-ending techniques? </p>
