I emailed the assistant to the Dean and figured out the best way to post, and got so many great candidates. Our babysitter is an elementary school teacher who likes to babysit on the side. I felt really good with her background and references. I will say be wary of college students who nanny part time. We also got a good candidate from care.com (6 years ago so not sure what has changed). You can try the baked goods thing to meet a few neighbors and some of them may have kids the right age.<br /> Also ask your hair stylist and others you interact with who live in the area.
