Smaller by SKR are great. My LO wore them for a month after walking: on the playground, taking walks around the block, etc. they hold up great. They have sales all the time and they fit small feet great. But they don't need to be "hard soled" just more sturdy than socks? Honestly her robeez soft soles were fine for what you describe as long as the ground was dry. Tiny baby feet unite! :happy: H is still in her size 3's at 17 months. </p> <p>I got a lot of recommendations for Stride Rite, See Kai Run and their Smaller line, and Pediped. C had really small feet for a while (I think they are normal for her age now?) and I just didn't bother with shoes until she was walking for the most part. But then again, I was that mom bringing her kid to the park in socks.</p> <p>Eta: she did have a pair of skr smallers in size 3 or 3.5 that she wore a lot. Hes not walking yet and won't be for a while, but he needs solid soled shoes for spring/summer and I can rarely find more than 2 options in size 3s online!! </p> <p>Any ideas? </p>
