My husband works 6:30-4 and really enjoys that extra afternoon hour with our daughter. He works the same number of hours as everyone else, just shifted an hour earlier. There are a couple of other mothers who have either amended or reduced schedules, so I don't think it will be a problem. If I didn't have that flexibility, I don't know how I would find balance. I know ti was a stretch but i'm trying to find a little more balance with my family life. My boss was apologetic but said in a company our size if one does it everyone will he said to come up with some other options but honestly nothing else make sense. </p> <p>Anyone else hit a road block when trying to find the balance? </p>
