@Mamaof2: I actually mostly let it air dry anyway- it's so fine and not that long that if I wash it at the beginning I f her bath it's half dry by the end. I don't know if she would tolerate me putting gel in, but even spraying with water and combing/ scrunching would help im sure.

Dry it with paper towels - some say micro fiber towels work too but I find paper towels work the best -
In the morning I spray it with water and use a wet brush to get out tangles and then scrunch with my hands and add gel- for DD I use Miss Jessies pillow soft curls

I wash every other day in the summer and twice a week in the winter

Following because H's hair looks like a rat's nest most days.

For my adult hair, I use L'Oreal's EverCurl cream. I started using the shampoo/conditioner on H, but I think the conditioner is too heavy for her fine hair, hence the rat's nest. So I'll keep trying other stuff and let you know!

C's hair is finally long enough that I feel like I should sort of do it most days. It's blind, fine, and curly, but often ends up more frizzled than curly not long after her bath. It looks best right after we wash it and comb it out with the wet brush. But we don't wash every day. We have started using regular Pantene conditioner plus spray with Honest Co de tangled spray.

Any recommendations on keeping the curl without weighing it down? She will tolerate very minimal fussing with it so it's got to be quick and easy!

I have straight hair but always wanted curls. I know from my curly sister not to brush it much, but that's about it.
