My daughter is still young at 9.5 months so I haven't dealt with having to wean her off her finger sucking, but now I embrace it so she self soothes. I would keep trying a lovey!

We've successfully cut out the pacifier about a month ago for our 21 mths old daughter. In the past couple of weeks, we've started to notice her sucking on either her thumb or index finger. I've given her a few things to try to comfort her but hasn't really attach herself to anything. Has anyone gone through something similar? What have you tried? I'm afraid of her becoming a thumb sucker and that will be much more difficult to get rid of.

TIA
