You are cute!</p> <p>I ended up not invited out of town because we agreed it would feel like they were obligated to come and would make them feel guilty for not coming.</p> <p>I wouldn't mention gift or no gift because gifts should be up to the person coming. We are doing it open house style at a pizza place- like 1-3 and buying pizza &amp; pop for everyone. There will be a salad bar and beer on tap if people want to do that. </p> <p>For a first birthday do you just invite everyone? For us that would be 45 invites (not including out of town) and about 100 people. Does that seem excessive? </p> <p>My Aunt said people like to get invites even if they live out of town. My Mom said not to put no gifts on the invite but I don't want to seem gift grabby to out of towners.</p> <p>I'm a little stumped but have to decide soon. Thoughts? Is this too many people? Do I send to out of town family? Perhaps with a note and photo? </p>
