And there are a lot of budget friendly ideas on pinterest for Mickey. I think it's fine if your friend did it, you could always do it in your own way. </p> <p>We had a rose garden theme because her name is Rose. I pretty much only spent some money at the dollar store for tissue paper and paper goods, and for the ingredients to make food. I did all DIY decorations, mostly with things I already had. I made sure to use my slow cooker to help with the food side of things and made tons of pulled pork and pulled jerk chicken.</p> <p>I think Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is a great theme! I bought some flatware (just forks and knives), plates and some cheapy, throw-away tablecloths. I decorated with things we had and bought some balloons for fun. I was considering doing that theme - perhaps Minnie alone - but a friend just did it about a month ago. Is that weird if I did the same theme? My Mom thinks it's totally fine.</p> <p>Other than that, I'm at a loss! I know we don't need a "theme" but thought it would be fun. We're having it at my parents house, and it's extremely frugal - making all the food! But family ALONE, we're looking at over 50-60 people.
