@Foodnerd81: haha yes! throw it all and see what sticks... that doesn't apply for parenting. Throw it all and just keep throwing!! ;) Maybe a year later, when you're confident enough, take away ONE thing.

That's so cute that she pats her arms! Parents are the scientific experimenters- throw everything at te problem at once and then never change anything!!

LMW has been waking screaming every hour or so every night for the past week or two. She always falls back asleep quickly, but it's so heartbreaking to listen to... not to mention the fact that she and I haven't had a full night's sleep in all this time! Wagons Jr. and Sr. sleep through the crying but I just can't.

Anyway, she got over hand foot and mouth mid last week and two or three days ago she started eating a normal amount of food again. Plus yesterday she was not whiny/cry-ey at all (not even in the carseat!), when she was nonstop last week. So she's pretty much fully recovered, which is nice. So I could attribute the cry-less sleep to one of many things:

1) She's totally better from HFM
2) She's going to bed with a nice full belly
3) We switched shampoos to a totally fragrance and dye free shampoo (she had been scratching at her head)
4) We switched from cotton to fleece PJs (she loves them and pats her arms like they're stuffed animals)
5) We closed the heat vents in our room, which directed more heat to the kids' rooms and so their rooms were warmer than before

I have no idea what made the difference (or maybe it was a combo of everything!) but I'm not going to change a thing...!! What a delicious night of sleep, and she is in SUCH good spirits today!!!
