We had one cycle of actively trying and timing it right with BFN and got our BFP on the second cycle of active trying/good timing. I feel incredibly lucky for that. I'm 20 weeks right now. </p> <p>It's fun to be excited for the first cycle, just try not to get your hopes TOO high up. The first month didn't work, but I was out of town during O week so didn't really put much faith in it! Even though I didn't expect a BFP, I was still sad to see the BFN. It's like I had psyched myself out so much that just doing it once without protection would result in a baby (even though I knew that wasn't true, my subconscious had been told that for so many years while preventing!)</p> <p>The second cycle was our lucky month and I feel very grateful that it happened so quickly, especially since by then I had read about all the things that need to go right in order for the embryo to implant.
