She did the second most common thing people do...tell me a story about someone else who lost a baby. Telling people about it is still the hardest thing for me, so I'm grateful for her to go ahead of me, and even talk to HR and the guy I usually temp for, because I was really dreading saying, "looks like I can come back after all, no baby here."</p> <p>But, today I'm temping for half the day, and I'm just nervous about it. I know they know, but I'm bracing myself for a slew of questions I don't want to deal with. I'm hoping to have some very vague answers, so that I don't have to dive into the details of everything around it. This place is an equivalent of a church, with plenty of well meaning church ladies.</p> <p>DS was going to come with me, which was going to be helpful to avoid it (saying, "I don't want to talk about it around him."), but it looks like he's going to opt to stay with my mom and dad to day, which on his end, I don't blame him. It's nice to be able to take him to work with me, but since I'm doing reception and not the mail room, it'll be a boring day for him. Not the best way to spend the first day of summer vacation, lol.</p> <p>So, any general broad vague answers I can use? I don't just wanna say, "None of your business," because they are nice people and mean well. But...it's none of their business. </p>
