The first few days were rough for me -- I loved being back at work but was incessantly worried about him and really missed him. But we fell into a groove in no time. I remember feeling really numb and just sort of going through the motions. I have also never been a clock watcher until I had LO, and then I was counting down the time until I felt like I had been at work long enough to put in a decent day's work and leave. (although my definition of a *decent day's work* has changed dramatically since LO arrived!)</p> <p>What helped me the most was telling myself every morning that leaving LO was the hardest thing I had to do all day, and after that, it was all downhill until I got to see her at the end of the day. </p> <p>Also, seeing her at the end of the day was always a celebration. :) Good luck! There were a lot of changes while I was gone, so I am not really sure what my job is right now. My new boss is my old boss, so I am happy about that. She is on vacation till Thursday, so at least I have an easy week back. </p> <p>I called day care already and R only ate 2 ozs her first bottle, but she took it at least. She ate early too, so hopefully the next one will be better. They said she was just waking up from a nap, so I am glad she napped. Since at home she will only nap on us!</p> <p>I miss her so much!! Counting down till 430 and I can leave to get her. </p>
