She had never been sick a day in her life before she started daycare, and has now been constantly sick ever since (more or less). He got sick his first week and seemed to get constant ear infections so I definitely think it is normal. Stinks but I think par for the course.</p> <p>My second son started daycare last July and faired better last winter but this year he's had a rough time. Go figure! </p> <p>We just try to hand sanitize and saline as much as possible. I know our daycare changed their cleaning policies last year after they experienced the sickest season ever since they opened. She has been sick back to back to back for the last three weeks. First a cold, then another cold before she'd recovered from the first, and, since Friday, a really nasty stomach bug (not sure if I can attribute that to daycare or not...we were at my in laws').</p> <p>Does this sound like it's in the realm of a normal frequency of sickness for her first daycare winter?</p> <p>I feel awful that she's sick so much, she clearly isn't her normal, perky self, and honestly, I'm exhausted. :sad: </p>
