I called the office to give them a heads up. They did my annual as usual but also drew blood to check my levels. Two days later I went back for my first OB visit at around 7w and got an order for a vaginal ultrasound to date the pregnancy at 8 or 9w (I can't remember exactly as it has been 2years).</p> <p>This time I called the Monday after I got my BFP (it was on a weekend). I just scheduled mine and I'll be around 8 weeks for my first appointment. At 9 weeks I met with my doctor and we listened for the heartbeat, and in my case had an ultrasound because she thought there was a possibilty I was further along than I really was. I got my BFP on Sunday, called Monday, went in on Wednesday. She likes to see her patients ASAP to do blood an go over any questions we might have. Then she had us go in a few weeks later for an ultrasound.
