I agree with that post that @SugarplumsMom linked to, that was helpful to me in the past. Also, one thing no one mentioned but that the hospital immediately told me and every other parent bringing in feverish babies when I had to go to the ER with my 3 month old - undress your baby! If he is eating / drinking it is less concerning than if he isn't. We alternate Tylenol and Motrin (every 2 hours), for very bad ones. DS has had high fevers like that before and the Dr has never been urgently concerned about it. Our Dr also said we can give both tylenol &amp; ibuprofen, just to make sure you get each dosed correctly with timing.
