@Truth Bombs: This sounds very similar! Their daughter is over at our house all the time playing (and our daughter at theirs) but this was the first actual overnight sleepover attempt! They have napped together more times than I can count ha!

We've been trading overnight babysitting with our good friends since our girls were about 18 months. The kids are always much easier for the other parents than they are for their own. And they LOVE it. Now when I get to school to pick up the other girls regularly inform me that they would like to come to my house for a sleepover. One even knows to grill me "how many car seats you got in your car Miss C???" :silly:

Probably not for a very very long time unless we personally knew the parents very well.

Last weekend we attempted our first friend sleepover, DD and her best friend are both 3 1/2. At around 11 pm her friend wanted to go home, which is not a big deal, they live 4 houses down and she is DH's best friends daughter so we just called and he walked over and got her.

We knew they were a little young, but they are moving at the end of the month so 1) we wanted to give her parents a chance to pack at night and 2) we knew it was a risk and wanted them to be close for this exact reason!

It was fun to try but I don't think I'll be doing it again anytime soon ;) When did your LO have their first friend sleepover?
