I gave her a Deva cut at home for the first time when she was 3.5. I think it turned out great. I like your DDs hair.</p> <p>Ts hair is just wavy at chin length (sometimes I blow dry it straight) but we started slowly cutting off inches at 2. I love her bob with bangs at almost 3. The stylist cut layers so we don't have to wait for the top layer to catch up. It's still pretty short on top, but she's got some long stragglers in the back, that we refer to as her mullet. We did the first cut a month after she turned two. It really did a lot to improve the shape and texture of her hair. Did you go to someone who specializes in curly hair? </p> <p>My almost 4.5 year old has started asking for a hair cut. Her hair is really curly in the summer and sort of curly in this super dry winter air. It’s still not that long- even brushed out straight it’s not quite mid back, and the front pieces still come out of ponytails and braids. I know we’ve gotten away with no cuts for a long time but I guess I might bring her soon... </p>
