The baby is still small and has plenty of room to move, so he/she isnt' always goign to be in a position that you feel strong kicks!

It wasn't regular for me either. I'd go days without feeling kicks, and then have a day where the kicks were super strong and constant. It all depends on how the baby is turned that particular day. Don't worry -- soon enough they'll be constant!

Thanks! I thought baby kicks would be so comforting, but now it's just a new thing to worry about.

I had that happen to me this pregnancy. First felt kicks at 17w and then nothing again until about 20w where it became more consistent.

My doctor told me not to worry about frequency of movement until 28 weeks so you're still well off from that. At this point in your pregnancy you are unlikely to feel kicks if the baby turns towards your back so it's probably just that baby has moved.

Same thing happened to me around the same amount of weeks! I read that at that point they are small enough that they can change position and be impossible to feel. And some days thy just are less active than others.

It wasn't regular for me until like 22/23 weeks. It's really normal to feel it for a few days and then not at all for another few days. Once you get further along, you'll definitely be feeling it all the time! :)

I started feeling some movement last week at 18w2ds. At around 18w5d I was feeling it pretty regularly. But it's slowed back down to maybe just a twinge a few times a day. Is that normal? I'm 19w2d now, so I know it'd still be early to be feeling it at all but I didn't know if it is supposed to come and go like that.
