I'm glad I am not the only one who missed their LO during a one night getaway... By the way, he did great for them, went down easily, slept all night (almost 11 hours) and had a great morning. I was anxious to pick him up though but nothing compares to seeing his face light up when we walked in the door!

I can't even imagine it! Someday when she's older. I think it'll be really fun for her, though. She loves her grandparents.

I'm also having our first night away. Dh and I are taking a staycation at a local hotel on the beach while my parents watch lo, she's 17 months. I don't have to worry about her sttn or anything like that, and she love love loves her grandma. She pushes me away if I try to pick her up when her grandma is holding her, so I know shell have a blast.

For me I think its just really bad timing after the school shooting. I'm still at the I don't want to leave los side for a second stage and then here I am leaving her for a whole night. Yes we had fun..... But I miss her terribly and can't wait for dh to wake up so I can get back to her.

My first time was about 2 weeks ago, C was 8 months old. I freaked out a little but I enjoyed it. I woke up super early and went home though. lol. I couldn't wait to see her little face again.

Tonight my DS is having a sleepover at my parents house. He is 9 months old. They took him to see Christmas lights at a park nearby. My parents said he did great and went to bed easily. I am a little worried that he isn't going to STTN for them and worried about keeping up with pumping for the feelings I miss.

What was your first night away like? Did you worry about your LO at all or just enjoy the freedom?
