We transitioned with the Magic Sleepsuit a few weeks ago and I was terrified that he wouldn't be able to sleep swaddled but his first night was similar to your LO's! We only decided to try to make the switch b/c DD was clearly becoming increasingly unhappy with being swaddled. Baby slept great in her sleep sack last night. It wasn't remarkably different from her normal swaddled nights, but I'm pretty sure she did less whining during the night, and I didn't have to listen to her strain and push against the swaddle all night long. More importantly, her flapping arms did not wake her up, and she seemed to be quite happy with her increased mobility. She has been fighting the confinement of the swaddle more and more in recent days, and I think she might be telling us that she is just done being swaddled. ...Or this experiment could be a disaster. We'll know by tomorrow morning one way or the other! </p>
