I have been EBF for 6 months now. It changed from a light to medium flow throughout the day and by bedtime, i decided to put a "super" tampon in along with wearing a pantiliner, just in case. I went to bed at 10pm. Well at 6:15am this morning i woke up because it felt like i was leaking, i decided to check....and not only had i leaked through, i had so much flow that it soaked through my pantiliner, underwear, sheets and left a huge stain on my mattress!!! I was in shock, this has never happened in my life!!! My first thought was that i never actually put the tampon in last night because i was so tired, but the super tampon was there!! </p> <p>Is this normal? Was your first post partum period way heavier than ever before? </p>
