Then, they rough calculated my EDD. Then, they did a vaginal US. Finally, they measured the baby and told me I was correct on how many weeks. My office has us meet with a nurse first. So, just talk to your doc if you think the dates would be different. I'm going to a GP, and they don't have an ultrasound machine at my clinic. So if we didn't opt for a NT scan the only ultrasound we would have gotten was the anatomy scan. However, once I was referred to the OB, she started using April 1st as my EDD. My cycles varied between 29 and 31 days once I went off birth control, so assuming ovulation was delayed by 3 days, I might actually have delivered on my "real" due date, April 5th. And, I know exactly when I got pregnant, so my midwife based it on conception date which was about a week different. All ultrasounds have been exactly on target from that date. </p> <p>I haven't had a dating ultrasound with either.
