I'll have labs recheck that day along with the Dr. visit. I'm assuming it will be the standard check up with a little extra focus on the baby...I'd hate for DH to take time off for a run of the mill appointment. Then again I have go to ALL of his appointments. Egh. I'll probably let him sit this one out but I would like for him to be more involved so I'm not the crazy lady. My first apt was a confirmation of pregnancy so they did an ultrasound.... Dh was there for that. My second was paperwork and an exam. I was hoping for a dating u/s but they didn't since I'd been charting and had regular cycles. DH came, which was nice because they had us fill out paperwork about genetic conditions that run in our family and I didn't know his side of things. They just went over symptoms, what I can take for them, gave me hand outs, answered general questions, took weight and blood pressure. I got blood drawn for a bunch of screening stuff.</p> <p>Then we met with the financial person to go over what insurance will cover, what we will have to pay for, etc. to be able to budget.</p> <p>We didn't even see the doc today but will at 8 weeks (2 weeks from now) and will do a pelvic exam and PAP.
