I remember giving myself a pat on the back everytime an hour passed. It was good for me to focus on little chunks rather than the whole day. If you want to sit around looking at your baby/the tv all day, DO IT! If you want to go window shop at the mall while your baby hangs out in a carrier, do that. She screamed, and I couldn't decide if it was more important to clean her up her feed her because she was hungry (I chose clean). Even if you don't end up leaving the house, it makes a huge difference in how you feel. And try to go on at least 1 walk if at all possible. And don't expect to get anything done around the house. That was so hard for me to get used to. He goes back on the road tomorrow, so it will be my first time parenting alone for more than a couple hours. It's going to be just us from 9 am to 7 pm.</p> <p>I am excited and nervous.
