@weagle i'm just trying to prepare the babysitter! she's a precious little HS girl. thats what i keep telling myself...he does soooo good in the church nursery. it's just his extra cranky time so it makes me worried.

FWIW, my LO is always better for other people than for me. I'm sure it will be okay!

he gets sooo cranky between 6-7 lately. like screaming cranky! i won't give him formula because he throws it up :-( i sort of test drove tonight for tomorrow...i did have to nurse him at 5 to sort of "tide him over" though. i'm hoping if they give him a bottle around 130/2 and then i nurse him around 330, he will last until 7.

he's just so tiny/skinny and i'm getting worried.

I'm sure it will go well. I just let the sitter know that they don't need to force food or sleep. I would rather come home to an awake baby than for a sitter to struggle trying to get a screaming baby to sleep.

Aw I was TERRIFED when I left M with sitters last week. One of them is my boss!! It was also her fussy time but honestly she was a perfect angel for them. She also usually does better with hubs during her fussy time. I think sometimes mamas deal with extra fussiness because baby knows the boobs are there. When mama is gone there is no use crying for a boob because they aren't around.

But just to clarify... When you say you don't have "extra" milk does that mean you can leave enough for a feeding but no more? I wouldn't want to leave the babysitter with no food for baby at all.

Aw.. I hope it goes well! :) If you are not able to have any bm for baby, maybe you'd be open to a small bottle of formula just incase? You can prepare the babysitter that it *could* be a cry-y 3 hours, but at least it will only be 3 hrs and you'll be back with LO before bedtime! :) have a good meeting!! LO will probably surprise you and have an awesome time :)

I have a meeting from 4-7 on Wednesday and I'm already worried about it! I had to get a sitter and DS has never stayed with anyone who isn't close friend or family. So worried because that is his extra cranky time (like 530-7) before bed and always wants to nurse! I have no extra breastmilk to give the sitter either. Any tips? Hoping it'll all just go smooth and no bumps!
