I was worried about the bottles but at that time, my LO sucked on everything in sight, so when the bottle went into his mouth he knew what to do. </p> <p>Now that he's almost 5 months old, he licks and bites things that go into his mouth and he has a hard time taking a bottle. Leaving him is no longer going well and I even have dreams about it. Bah! It drives me crazy. </p> <p>Now, I am going to suggest that you do a practice of leaving LO first for you. My first time leaving LO (with his Daddy!) I actually got halfway to town and had to turn around and come back....I couldn't do it. If something like heaven forbid a car accident happened make sure there is some way to feed your LO. He was 6 weeks old. It went just fine though - he too his bottle and slept most of the time. </p> <p>Try not to stress because more than likely everything will be perfect! Your baby will still be SO young that he can't really "act out". He's not old enough to really realize you're gone, so the only hard part is making sure YOU will be okay!!</p> <p>I remember when I first left him, it was game night with my friends and all of them gave me BIG hugs and said, "We're here for you!!" I'm starting to really stress about it because the test is super important and I also can't carry a cell phone with me while I take it. Any tips for me? </p>
