@regberadaisy: I just found out a friend is expecting too, and another one that's TTC so any day now! I am still pretty new at this too but I was saying how I already miss that anticipation of POAS, and then all the joys throughout pregnancy!

I am the opposite of this, I am more excited to have a second LO because I actually feel experienced. I was more nervous than excited for my first. I do get excited when friends are expecting though!

Nope! I actually take comfort in knowing what's to come :) And having all the neuroticness behind me.

DH's cousin is expecting her first baby in July. I'm so flipping excited for her!!!

Every time I hold a newborn/infant and hear about their routines and high/lows, I melt all over again even though there were definitely plenty of rough spots!

I am a new parent and I kind of fell like everyone around me forgot that every NEW or first is new..... like the fact that we haven't left DD 4 months yet with a grnadparent to baby sit, main reason is she won't take a bottle any more and
We decided to start with an hour or two of us leaving and them watching her to get her used to it, but it is still hard and
They laugh at us, I guess they forget .....lol

I've got two sets of friends that are expecting their first. It's sooo fun to see them experiencing the joy and anticipation of first time parenthood! The one couple is finding out the gender today and the pure joy on their face is so awesome!

I kinda miss that! So happy for them and this wonderful journey they're embarking on.

Anyone you know experiencing parenthood for the first time?

Do you miss that anticipation?
